Update: Apparently, they removed the article from the URL I have posted...I'll re-post the new one when and if they put it back up.

When I prayed that I'd be given the opportunity to spread the word about adoption, I had no idea what was in store! Not only were there the 2 TV clips (see below), but now this:

Waiting for Baby Weinmeister...
Well, we found out some more information about what's going on with the Kazakhstan consulate; probably not to anyone's surprise, this means more waiting!
I post the exclamation point with a smile...obviously, we'd love to hear that our process is quickly moving along through each phase. Since that's not the case, we're having to not only be patient, but to get aligned with God's timing and will. That's definitely a blessing of this adoption process...the nature of it and our original reason for making this decision forces us to continually look back to Him in these times and realize that it's not about just getting it done quickly and that there's probably much more going on with the matching of our child with us than we could ever imagine.
We will post more later, but the details provided to us actually mean significant changes to the dossier submission process going forward. Kazakhstan is apparently overloaded with dossiers due to various factors, including the cutoff of all Vietnamese adoptions and the ability for families adopting from China to initiate a parallel adoption in Kazakhstan during the wait. Because they have way more dossiers then they are staffed to handle, the consulate has suspended incoming dossiers. This suspension is indefinite and we are hoping to be able to submit again in August at the earliest.
We will keep you updated with anything else we know. Please do keep us and our baby in your prayers.
Thanks so much again for following this journey with us - it means the world to us!!
